Welcome to our Flagship Bar in central Reading, just a 2 minute walk from the train station. As well as 28+ lines of beautiful brewery fresh beer, from both Siren and guests we have fully stocked fridges for your takeaway cans - did someone say train beers!?
We also have an incredible wine list, and some gorgeous cocktails. Not to mention plenty of great tea and coffee, soft drinks and our very own Sparkling Hopwater. We can host groups from 10 to 200 people in a central Reading location. Perfect for meetings, sit down meals, local clubs, businesses or family gatherings.
Our Snug seating area seats up to sixteen people, but can accommodate groups of 20-25 with a mix of seated & standing.

Siren Reading Bar is easy to get to wherever you're coming from, just a two minute walk from Reading Central train station. Head to Popworld/Sub89 on Friar Street, we're opposite!
There are regular trains to and from a host of towns and cities, including London, Bristol, Basingstoke, Oxford, Birmingham, Cardiff, Cornwall, Bournemouth, Exeter, Manchester and more. It couldn't be easier to get to us.
Being so close to the train station, there are also regular buses heading to and from a variety of nearby towns.
If you're in town for an event, we're nearby a host a local venues:

Do you charge a service fee?
Our staff work really hard to make your visit the best it can be, so for table service we add a discretionary 12.5% service charge.
Do you have a kids menu?
We do indeed!
Can I use my "Sirens Awaken" discount?
Yes you can! Just let the bar know who you are and we'll be able to apply your investor discount for you.
Do you have Gluten Free or Dairy Free options?
We do have Gluten Free and Dairy Free options available. Some of the dishes are naturally gluten or dairy free and others can be adopted. We have GF buns available for all of our burgers (and we've researched the best GF buns you can get, so they don't just fall apart!).
Do you serve breakfast / brunch?
At the moment, we do not serve anything outside of our main menu, kids menu and Sunday menu, and the kitchen starts serving at 12pm. Creating an amazing breakfast/brunch menu is a plan for the future though.
What time do you serve food from?
The kitchen opens at 12pm.

We do indeed and we'll be aiming to have more available over time. We welcome your feedback on the options.
Do you host parties?
We can host your party, get in touch to discuss! The perfect spot for smaller gatherings is out "Snug" area, but we can also host larger gatherings.
Do you just serve beer?
Nope, we have a wide range of great drinks including teas and coffees, a fantastic wine list curated by Milton Sandford Wines and a beautiful line up cocktails.
Are you child and dog friendly?
We absolutely are, yes. Children are allowed onsite until 9pm and we love dogs, so bring them in.

Do you have any outside space?
We do indeed! We have a lovely shady patio area - perfect for escaping the hot sun with a cold drink.
Is the bar a good place to visit before a show at the Hexagon?
Our bar is the perfect spot for a Pre-show Pint. Just ask Ed Byrne!
What time do you call last orders?
Please be aware that we call last orders 30 minutes before the site closes, so ordinarily this will be:
Monday - Thursday: 22:30
Friday & Saturday: 23:30
Sunday: 20:30
